“Homer,” pictured with CWC Director Victoria Harris, is a fawn that was confiscated by the Sheriff’s Department from someone’s backyard where it had been living with the family dogs. Imprinted by humans, it could not be released to the wild, so it was taken to a refuge near San Diego.
