Savannah Mosser, a freshman at Emerson University in Boston, was named women’s tennis athlete of the week for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
The Malibu resident began her collegiate career with two straight set wins at #2 singles by defeating her opponent from Wentworth 6-1, 6-0, then downing her foe from Suffolk, 6-2, 6-3. She is part of a doubles team that has won the first doubles point in each match by scores of 8-0 and 8-4 respectively.
