Malibu sisters Kerri and Cacey Madden are raising money to run in the New York Marathon for two lung cancer charities — Lungevity Foundation and the Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation — as part of the “Run as One” team. All money that they raise will be divided between the two charities, as well as a friend of the sisters’ family, Eduardo Fonseca, who was diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer and is now fighting for his life.
Kerri graduated from Malibu High School in 2009. Cacey is currently a senior at MHS. Cacey ran the Los Angeles Marathon in March and this will be Kerri’s first marathon.
