Sign carrying protestors gathered Saturday at Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road to rail against the state’s Malibu Lagoon Restoration Project. One person was dressed as a huge green frog. The protestors say that the project would destroy an existing healthy lagoon and endanger wildlife.
Protestors say the lagoon is healthy as is. Heal the Bay, the state and other entities say the lagoon needs to be reconfigured to create better water and oxygen flow.
