Local third grader Quinn Graham traveled the entire Fourth of July Point Dume Parade route on a pogo stick last year. The Point Dume Marine Science Elementary School student hopped the entire one and a half mile route without stopping. Additionally, he was escorted by Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s deputies along the way.
Graham won an award for the feat last year and invites other Malibuites to try their hand at pogo sticking the parade route this year.
“His determination is a testimony of that good old American ‘I can do it’ spirit,” Lydia Graham wrote in an e-mail to The Malibu Times.
