As a legal educator at Pepperdine and a mother of four children who have attended California public schools, I have seen the importance of personal integrity and experience in state and local government officials. Through their sincerity, energy, and personality, people like Pamela Ulich and Ken Kearsley have helped the residents of Malibu achieve their goals. In Barry Groveman, I also see the experience and character that can make a difference in state government. And clearly, I am not alone.
Many leaders I respect support Barry Groveman for the 41st Assembly seat. Recently, my husband and I hosted an event for Mr. Groveman’s campaign, and at this event I met many of the leaders who, like me, support Mayor Groveman. From the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jack O’Connell, to local school board members, Terilyn Finders, Cindy Iser, Dave Moorman and Gordon Whitehead, people who have worked with Barry have confidence in his leadership.
I urge voters to consider voting for Barry Groveman, a candidate who has experience writing legislation, a complicated task that demands experience. I am informed that he is supported by the California Medical Association, every coastal mayor in the 41st district, and leaders in education from the state level to the local level, so in my opinion, Barry Groveman is the clear and best choice for Assembly.
