The Pepperdine Waves men’s and women’s basketball teams had one win and one loss last week.
The men’s team suffered a 59-71 loss at home to the Santa Clara University Broncos Jan. 27. The Waves bounced back with a 94-88 win over the University of San Francisco Dons in Malibu Jan. 29. Next, the Waves take on the Saint Mary’s College Gaels Feb. 3 at 7 p.m., followed by the University of San Diego Toreros Feb. 5 at 6 p.m., both on the road.
The women’s team earned a win over the Broncos 69-49 Jan. 27 in Santa Clara. The waves then fell to the Dons 46-66 in San Francisco Jan. 29. Next, the Waves return home for games against the Saint Mary’s College Gaels Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. and the University of San Diego Toreros Feb. 5 at 2 p.m.
