On May the 8th MBA-RWF members gathered for a brunch with a guest speaker Evan Sayet. Logical and bright American women struggle to understand how one would want government making decisions for us on even the size of our drinks; how healthy and capable individuals would want to live off a few dollars the government hands them for their votes; how biased and subjective media still has an audience; how the President of the United States of America protects and cares about everyone except America and Americans; how one would want to be taxed to the point that one loses motivation to work or has to move to Texas; how the United States of America, the country that always has been proud of being the land of the free, now would rather have us whispering and not expressing out loud, for the sake of political correctness. These are just a few questions the guest speaker Evan Sayet tried to answer during Wednesday brunch.
The gathering was held at the residence of Marta and Jim Enstrom. Closing the event Jim took a moment to celebrate his wife Marta, who came to America at an age of sixteen without speaking one word of English, and through hard work and extreme determination, came to become an attorney and a judge, and now lives in a beautiful residence in Bel-Air. And how can MBA-RWF members, how can such women as Marta ever understand how one would rather lead a mediocre life burdened, invaded and controlled by the government, instead of supporting the idea that the primary role of the government is to create the environment in which the ones who work the hardest or the smartest thrive, making the world a better place for everyone?
