Malibu Rotary Club members and guests were graced with the presence of America’s 26th President, Theodore Roosevelt, at their Dec. 2 meeting.
Joe Wiegand, a nationally renowned Theodore Roosevelt reprisor, gave a presentation about Roosevelt’s life to an audience of Rotary Club members and eighth-grade students from Malibu Coast Academy.
A press release from the Rotary Club said that Wiegand never went out of character. “He literally greeted each person who entered the room, and sprinkled planned remarks about his amazing life with observations and comments about people who happened to be at this particular Rotary meeting.”
