Malibu resident and superstar entertainer Neil Diamond announced he has cut short his 50th anniversary tour. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer said he’s battling Parkinson’s disease and will retire from touring.
However, Diamond—who just turned 77—did say he will continue to write and record songs. The legendary performer has a string of hit songs and is also known for rousing sing-a-long anthems such as “Sweet Caroline” and “America.”
When announcing his diagnosis, Diamond thanked his fans for their support.
