Righting a wrong

Over the years it has been a pleasure to read letters from Malibu geologist, Don Michael. His wit, sensibilities, and yes, sarcasm never fail to hit the bull’s eye of his intended targets. Even more refreshing is the recent apology Mr. Michael wrote to Rick Wallace concerning the ability to see the San Bernardino Mountains from Point Dume. That very special far view requires a very, very clear day and a particular vantage point at the end of the Point Dume preserve. The ability to apologize for a mistake requires a fine, upstanding person of integrity. Thanks, Don Michael, for being that kind of letter writer and that kind of human being.
