A double whammy of renewal occurs when the Sun enters Aries on the 19th, signaling the first day of spring, followed by the New Moon on the 20th. The Sun-Pluto purge on the 11th and 12th will assist you in preparing for this burst of fresh energy by helping to eliminate what’s unneeded in your life. Mercury’s transit into fiery Aries on the 12th adds more innovative ideas to the mix and indicates a good time for initiating new projects. The Venus-Jupiter rendezvous on the 16th enlivens romance, but beware of the illusionary Neptune influence around the 18th, which, on the bright side, can produce amazing creative and spiritual inspiration.
If you know your rising sign from your time of birth, read that also.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
The power is in your court when multiple Aries influences give a big boost to your business and personal plans, especially after the New Moon. Just don’t push too hard on the 11th and 12th, and slow down around a stumbling block on the 15th.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Much of your activities will be in preparation for bigger things next month, except in romance, which should be positively blooming right now. If not, then express your love to friends and family. And indulge in something hedonistic.
Gemini (May 21-June 21)
The New Moon ushers in a friendly contact who will assist you. It’s also a good time for volunteering in community activities. Mars in your sign from March 20 through May 6 heats up passion-for a project or a romantic interest.
Cancer (June 22-July 22)
A burst of career energy is brought on by the New Moon, an excellent time to promote your talents. Patience, however, will be in short supply. A snafu from a faulty communication around the 15th gets a surprisingly quick fix.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You’ll need to maneuver over a romantic speed bump around the 11th, possibly due to a power struggle. Let the New Moon’s philosophical insights help you see the bigger picture of what’s really going on. Your spiritual life blooms.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The New Moon says it’s time to let go of all the emotional and mental stuff holding you back. This may take some alone time to achieve, but by next month you’ll have an expanded vision of path, both personal and professional.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Activities with your significant other make for some lively scenarios during the New Moon. If you’re partner-less, visualize exactly what you want in a romance and watch him/her walk into your life. Just be careful what you ask for …
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Take advantage of the New Moon energy to get healthy. Exercise! On a more spiritual note, your Pluto ruler turns retrograde from March 24 through the end of August, signaling a time for introspection and getting in touch with your “higher self.”
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Love shines during the New Moon with spirited communications (minus a momentary snag around the 15th). Partnerships are energized-and aggravated-when Mars travels through Gemini from March 20 through May 6.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
What you say around the 15th may come back to bite you, so think before engaging mouth. Family activities are highlighted during the New Moon, when you’ll get the urge to improve your home environment.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Ideas and communications are your forte, especially after the New Moon. Travel is also in the stars. A beautifying Venus influence around the 16th encourages you to get creative in your home environment.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Financial opportunities abound during the New Moon-if you keep your eyes open. Love is dreamy around the 18th, but reality will bring you back down to earth shortly afterward. Keep the dream alive-but with one foot on the ground.
