Malibu local Alberto Perusset completed the LA Marathon in four hours and 44 minutes last month. It was the 10th consecutive time he has participated in the LA Marathon. It was the 34th marathon he has run barefoot, and his 73rd marathon run overall. Next, Perusset will run in the OC Marathon on May 5. He is also one of the directors of the Malibu Marathon, which will take place Nov. 10.
