Pepperdine was named the seventh-best online MBA program in the U.S. in a ranking recently released by SR Education on their website, OnlineU.org.
Focusing on the seven most popular areas of study for online students, SR Education ranked schools in computer science, social work, MBA, nursing, education, accounting and engineering.
“We put a lot of effort into identifying metrics for each specific program that we felt best conveyed proof of success for the students and its program,” CEO Sung Rhee said in information released by SR Education.
The study considered not only the accreditation of each program but also the desirability of the school, strength of the student body and other related factors.
Other schools on a list included nationally recognized universities such as University of Southern California, North Carolina State University and University of Florida.
SR Education’s mission is to provide online resources for students seeking higher education programs that are affordable and accessible, according to information available on their site.
