The “free store” with free clothing and shoes for Woolsey Fire victims and others in need is now reopened. Now called “Izzy’s Donation Center for Woolsey Fire Victims,” it’s located above Café Habana Malibu in the city-owned Malibu Lumber Yard. This is the same spot where the Boys & Girls Club operated the donation center up until last week; it has now been reopened and taken over by local Neda Soderqvist and a dedicated group of volunteers.

In a written statement to TMT, she said, “Izzy’s Donation Center is open to all Woolsey Fire victims who are from Malibu and surrounding areas. Donations of clothing, shoes and household items will be accepted during business hours.” Izzy is Neda’s daughter.

The center is also badly in need of donated clothing racks for hanging up clothes.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Closed Sundays. The address is 3939 Cross Creek Rd., Malibu 90265.
