Malibu City Council this week approved a $5,000 reward for “information leading to the apprehension, identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Tristan Beaudette in Malibu Creek State Park on June 22, 2018.”
The reward, suggested by Mayor Rick Mullen, was approved by a unanimous vote of city council during the Monday, July 9, council meeting.
Beaudette, a 35-year-old chemist and father of two, was shot and killed while camping at the park with his two daughters.
