Point Dume Marine Science School hosted its first Farmer’s Market on Friday to raise funds for the school’s organic garden and to promote buying local produce. The event was organized by student Environmental Commissioners Jonah Fox and Henry Mason. The students sold flowers, organic fruits, nuts and vegetables at the market. Students also packaged their own PDMSS organic fertilizer from the school’s composting bins. Additionally, local farms, business and families donated to the market.
