The Malibu Rotary Club will be conducting its annual Malibu Rotary Middle and High School singing competition on Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Malibu High School Auditorium. Malibu Rotarians will vote on the winners, who will compete for awards valued from $100-$250.
The winner of the Malibu Rotary High School music competition can advance to the Rotary District 5280 2009 Governors Music Award Competition, for which the Malibu Rotary Club will pay the $50 entry fee.
Entrees must be submitted by Feb. 1. Auditions will be held on March 21, and the Awards ceremony will take place on May 2 at the Rotary District Conference at the Westin Hotel in South Coast Plaza. First to third place winners at this level receive $250 to $1,000.
