On Nov. 17, Malibu Green Machine, the nonprofit with a mission to beautifuy Malibu’s public places, on Saturday hosted a community planting at the “Malibu: 27 Miles of Scenic Beauty” road sign at the west-end of Pacific Coast Highway. The organization’s Thanksgiving gift includes drought-tolerant native plants, which should blend and enhance the area’s surroundings. Those involved with the garden include designer Brian Hogan of HRP Studio, ValleyCrest Companies, Boething TreeLand Farms and the Malibu Garden Center.
