Juan Cabrillo Elementary School students joined forces with Malibu Middle School students to collect books for underprivileged children who do not have easy access to books due to budget cuts and library closures. The book drive was a great success, with students collecting more than 900 books for children in need. The books will be sorted and delivered to a school in Oxnard.
