Walter Lachman with the book he owned as a teenager titled “For Our Youth: A Book of Entertainment for Israelite Boys and Girls,” which was inscribed with the name Wolfgang Lachmann. Lachman had changed his name after surviving a concentration camp and coming to America. The Berlin city library returned the book to him.
