Alex Goodman, a recent recipient of The Malibu Times Citizen of the Year Award, last week returned from Camp Bloomfield where he served as a buddy to a blind camper. Goodman was among 100 others who in late June attended the Buddy in Training Camp. He was then among the top 50 volunteers selected to return to Camp Bloomfield to spend five days aiding a blind camper with various camp activities, which included field trips to the beach and a Dodger game.
