On Jan. 16, Malibu resident Leslie H. Martinson will celebrate his 100th birthday. Martinson is a director most famous for movies “Batman” (1966), “The Bionic Woman” (1976), “PT-109” (1963), “Rescue from Gilligan’s Island” (1978) and “Fathom (1967). In television, Martinson directed many shows, including “The Brady Bunch,” “Dallas,” “Small Wonder” and “Buck Rodgers.”
Martinson will celebrate with his wife Connie, producer/interviewer of the 30-year television program “Connie Martinson Talks Books.”
