A retirement celebration was held for longtime Ralphs employee Debrah Caraway at Coogieson Sunday afternoon.
After serving the community for more than three decades, Caraway retired last month. Co-workers, friends and family members came out to honor Caraway.
Actor and friend Dick Van Dyke reflected, “She will be missed.”
Caraway is known for her joyous, exuberant personality. Throughout the store should could often be heard saying, “Hello, gorgeous!” and “Glad to see you, beautiful!”
Local firefighter Chris Hanson and wife Debbie join the celebration. Hanson and Caraway seemed to bond over their matching casts.
