– March 22: “Healthy Homes: A Better Standard for Green Living & Healthy Remodel Conversations,” 6 p.m.-9 p.m., at Malibu City Hall.
The City of Malibu is hosting a panel discussion on the dangers of environmental and construction material toxins found in homes and buildings.
– April 2: Commercial Restroom Retrofit Program, Malibu Country Mart, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The City has partnered with Los Angeles County Waterworks District 29 and West Basin Municipal Water District to provide water-efficient fixtures to schools, education centers and businesses. West Basin provides equipment and installation.
– April 2: Cash for Kitchens Program, Malibu Country Mart, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The City and West Basin Municipal Water District have invited local restaurant owners and managers to attend a free Commercial Water Efficiency Workshop.
– April 7: Easter Hoppening at Malibu Bluffs Park, 11:30 a.m.
Easter egg hunt for kids (and one for adults too!). The event will also include bounce houses ($1), photos with the Easter bunny, face painting, a Dogtown Dogs Food Truck, Hui Hui Shaved Ice, crafts, cartoon demonstrations by Larry Scott, “eggstravagant” egg hunt prizes, bubble activities and more.
