The Resettled

Pepperdine student members of No Lost Generation are hosting a screening of “The Resettled,” a film about refugees who settled in America and their unique challenges, with a Q&A discussion to follow. The screening takes place Wednesday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fireside Room on Pepperdine’s Campus.

The screening is free and open to members of the Malibu community as well as Pepperdine students and faculty, and will include a discussion with the movie’s director, Alan Thompson, and a representative from Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, described by organizers as “an international non-profit volunteer organization that sponsored the film and provides humanitarian aid and humanistic education to people around the world.”

No Lost Generation is a student group on Pepperdine’s Malibu campus. It is self-described as an organization “created to support refugees by spreading awareness, fundraising and developing educational resources.”
