Sara Tousseieng and Raine Murray have been awarded co-MVPs of the Malibu High School JV swim team, which recently won the league championship. The girls played vital roles in the team’s winning meets throughout the year, including victories over powerhouse Oaks Christian School, Villanova Preparatory School and La Reina High School.
By the end of the season, Murray was the team’s points leader, with a total of 137 points. Not far behind was Tousseieng with 124.5 points. Other top scorers on the team included Moorea Maguire with 117.5 points and Maria Lopez with 111 points.
Other big contributors on the swim team were Danica Downing, Allyx Teel, Sofi Peterson, Leah Ball, Christine Karaghossian, Lara Kiefer, Alana O’Herlihy, Jessie Source, Elena Clarefield and Tiffany Vanderlip.
