Malibu resident Eric Nathan Greenberg died Feb. 28 from cancer at the Ventura County Medical Center. He was 46.

Greenberg was born in New York City to Norman Sydney and Sandra Malkin Greenberg on Sept. 19, 1963. He was raised in Parsippany, New Jersey, where he developed his passions for sports, music, films and literature.

Greenberg graduated from Parsippany High School in 1981 and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan Business School in 1985. He lived most of his adult life in the Malibu area, and worked as a salesman at the Malibu Radio Shack.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Malkin Greenberg of Parsippany, New Jersey; his four sisters: Becky (John) Jackson of Menlo Park, Debby Greenberg of Wayland, Mass., Jane (John) Kostick of Medford, Mass., and Ellen (Enrique) Zuniga of Jamaica Plain, Mass.; four nephews and two nieces.
