Motorists familiar with driving over the rough main road in the Malibu Colony Plaza shopping center will be pleased to hear that several of the most severe potholes in the road have been fixed. Workers this week filled in several major potholes in front of Starbucks and Coogie’s Beach Café, in addition to a host of minor holes which were also filled. The repairs were made after requests made by Public Safety Commissioner Meril May of officials at The Kroenke Group.

May said a text message from Jessica Hudson, a property manager at The Kroenke Group, informed him in a text that the recent repairs were short-term and that a full driveway replacement, including seal coating and striping the parking lot, would take place later in the spring.

The Columbia, Missouri-based Kroenke Group is owned by industrialist and Malibu resident Stan Kroenke.

What do you think about potholes being filled in by Ralphs and Starbucks? Glad to have a smoother ride? Let us know in the comments.
