Fifth grade students at Point Dume Marine Science School are currently working on a project, called “iPlantster,” to learn about responsibility. For one week, each student takes care of his or her own flowering plant. They bring the plants to and from school, water them when needed, write instructions to a fictional “plantsitter” and even name their plants.
