Over $115,000 was raised to fund Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) programs at the Inaugural Santa Monica-Malibu Wine Auction on Sunday, April 17.
Hosted at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows, the event welcomed over 400 guests, featured food and wine tastings from 35 local restaurants and beverage purveyors, and had live, silent and online auctions.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation, which funds programs for every school in the district, including arts education for all elementary students and enrichment grants for all 16 SMMUSD schools.
