At the 61st Annual Golden Mike Awards on Jan. 22, Actress & Radio Television News Association Board Member June Lockhart presented Malibu resident and conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq., and his Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic with its Award of Appreciation.
For the second year in a row, the L.A. Lawyers Phil volunteered a performance at the ceremony. The orchestra performed popular classics, including “Singing in the Rain,” “My Fair Lady” and “Chicago.”
The Lawyers Phil is where lawyers, judges, law students and legal staff meet in harmony. The members include conservatory graduates, professional musicians and some hobbyists. Gary S. Greene, Esq., an attorney/violinist/conductor, founded the L.A. Lawyers Phil two years ago to bring the legal community together. Since its inception, the orchestra has performed more than 20 concerts.
