I must say that John Wall’s letter claiming nebulous support for the Malibu Parks and Land Bond is disingenuous on his part. When members of the Bond Committee met with the Malibu Park Homeowners Association Board, John Wall urged the group not to endorse the bond and, moreover, he refused to sign the endorsement sign-up sheet that was passed around the group, which many of his colleagues wholeheartedly signed.
For Mr. Wall to write that he “found the campaign committee had the skills and energy needed for the campaign” and that “the limited help I could provide at that time was not needed” is simply not true. Mr. Wall was asked to endorse the bond which would have provided ball fields for our children, and land for a community center and open space and he flat out refused.
