Once again, Susan Tellem has it wrong. In last week’s newspaper, she states: “Too bad that this is the last Chili Cook-Off at the Chili Cook-Off site.” She is wrong again. The design team for the park made sure that the present Chili Cook-Off site would be available, not only for that annual event, but also for six events which will be permitted on Legacy Park.
So rest assured Malibu, notwithstanding Ms. Tellem’s false statement, next year and all the years to follow, we will be able to gather together and support our local Kiwanis Club’s Chili Cook-Off with friends and neighbors on the same site surrounded by the beginnings of our new beautiful Legacy Park.
