The Westside Waldorf School raised nearly $10,000 on Dec. 9 at a party at The Outdoor Room. The money raised is going toward the cost of building a traffic signal at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Los Liones Road.

Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl attended the fundraiser, which included an auction and raffle. A surfboard from Malibu’s 9:Fish Surfboards was among the raffle items.

The Westside Waldorf School, located in Pacific Palisades, has a student body made up of children from Topanga, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice and other areas.
