Competing against 173 runners at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex this past Saturday, Nick Heath, Nick Blanchard and Ben Fox ran the three-fastest 8Ks in Capital Cross Challenge — breaking the Pepperdine men’s cross country team record.
Heath’s performance resulted in a eighth place finish, helping him to also break an individual record set on the same course a year ago as a freshman.
Blanchard, a junior, and Fox, a senior, both set personal bests during the competition as well, with each shaving off at least a minute from their previous times.
