Harriet Lane-Foster died May 27 at the age of 65.
Lane-Foster was born on May 22, 1948, and was a resident of Malibu and Topanga for 45 years. She lived a life full of intense generosity, devoted search for meaning and the kind of love that changed the people she knew.
“The likes of her will not be seen again on this earth,” Lane- Foster’s family wrote. “We are all better people for her presence, even now.”
Lane-Foster is survived by her lifelong partner Paul Lovas; her brother Richard Lane and his wife Dianna; her sister Shoshana Leibman and her husband Mayer; her nephews, nieces and their children; her best friends, Toni and Cathie, and a large number of friends.
