The California Wildlife Center will team up with Heal The Bay this year to bring the annual Coastal Clean Up Day back to Malibu.
The event will take place on Sat., Sept. 21 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. in Malibu. Beaches participating in the event include Zuma Beach, Leo Carrillo State Beach, Malibu Surfrider Beach and Topanga State Beach . Costal Cleanup Day is a large-scale volunteer event led by the Ocean Conservancy and part of the International Coastal Cleanup Day, which promotes the cleanliness of oceans and local beaches. The California division has been headed by the California Coastal Commission for the last 23 years.Â
