The Children’s Lifesaving Foundation, a nonprofit that supports Los Angeles homeless, at-risk youth and families, will launch “Camp4All,” a summer camp for children from all backgrounds from July 13 to 18 in Malibu.

Families from Los Angeles areas, including Malibu, are invited to enroll their children ages five to 12 in Camp4All for an opportunity for children of diverse backgrounds to play, create, swim and surf in a safe, natural environment. There is also a Counselor-in-Training Program for youths ages 12 to18.

Camp4All also allows for diverse groups of children to break down the social and economic barriers that may separate them.

“When children meet and interact with other children from different backgrounds, they learn lessons that will last them a lifetime.” Phil Cott, Webster Elementary School principal, said in a press release.

Camp4All activities include service projects, usually related to the environment; two meals per day; beach activities at Zuma Beach; BBQ cookouts; arts projects; trail hikes; and sports, among others.
