In news from over the hill … residents of the Agoura Hills and Cornell areas have filed suit to block construction of the first of several huge projects planned near Kanan Dume Road … just south of the 1-0-1 Freeway.

More news of conflict of interest from the family of a Santa Monica-Malibu school board member.

The L-A Times reports that a private pilot … working to save the Santa Monica Airport from closure … gave a free ride for a Santa Monica city council member to a meeting in northern California in his plane. 

That gift not reported by council member Tony Vazquez.

Vazquez and his wife … school board member Maria Leon Vazquez … are under investigation by the District Attorney and state officials for her apparent conflict of interests … voting on school district contracts that benefitted her husband.
