At its January board meeting, Director Carol W. Kwan was elected to serve as president of the West Basin Board of Directors.
Kwan has been of service to the West Basin Board for 20 years and was the first elected female and Asian-American member to serve.
West Basin has been supplying safe and high-quality water to cities in Los Angeles County, including Malibu.Â
The board also elected Director Harold C. Williams to serve as its board vice president for 2016, Director Scott Houston to serve as new treasurer and Director Donald L. Dear to serve as secretary.
