Two classes from Webster Elementary School visited the Stagecoach Inn Museum on a field trip that took place Oct. 8. While at the museum, students learned about California’s history and played with old-fashioned instruments, tops and barrel rings. Part of the interactive lesson included panning for gold and learning about the chores children did in the 1800s. Following those lessons, students had a lesson in a school house where they learned about stagecoaches and the work of a blacksmith.
