Aloha! I lived in Malibu until 1980 and worked at the Malibu Inn for Harry and Carlos who also owned the Malibu Colony coffee shop. Three years ago I came back from Kauai. I was so sad. With all the billionaires and millionaires who live here, you still have a city that smells like a sewage plant. Shame on all of you! For many years the raw sewage has run down those hills. When I came down from Malibu Canyon, I cried at what you still haven’t done to clean it up.
How dare you let this happen to such a beautiful place. No one notices this! Get aware and take a really deep breath. Take in that odor and get it done. Shame on you all. Not fixing the sewage at these restaurants is unacceptable. You keep building but no one has done anything but buy and close up the restaurants and get rid of the good ones. It’s so sad. Step up and do something before it is too late.
