A driving under the influence and driver’s license checkpoint will take place Friday at an undisclosed location in Malibu from 7:30 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. Officers will be checking drivers for signs of alcohol or drug use and making sure drivers are properly licensed. The checkpoint is being conducted by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety to the City of Malibu.
