Despite a loss against Gonzaga Sunday, the #23 ranked Pepperdine Waves took home their 17th WCC division title thanks to a loss from Loyola Marymount.
Pepperdine finished the season with a 36-16 record overall and 18-9 in the division.
The Waves also received many WCC honors. Aaron Brown took home pitcher of the year while head coach Steve Rodriguez received the coach of the year award.
First team honors were given to pitchers Aaron Brown, Eric Karch and Corey Miller while infielders Brandon Caruso and Manny Jefferson along with catcher Aaron Barnett were awarded.
Next on the ticket for the Waves is the WCC Conference Championships in Stockton, California where they are slated to take on Santa Clara Thursday at 3 p.m.
