Local residents Raffi and Ani Dermenjian hosted the sixth annual Malibu Armenian Community Picnic at La Costa Beach last week. According to Ani, the event kicked off with a sing-along to the Armenian national anthem.
Attendees held a toast to celebrate the 2,800-year anniversary of Yerevan, the Armenian capital.
