The Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue’s Hand in Hand program celebrated “Step Forward Day” with Pepperdine students. The group took part in woodwork with the assistance of Malibu’s own Larry Gray.
The program assists mentally and physically challenged young adults in Malibu. Hand in Hand started meeting last Thursday, Sept. 14. The meetings will be held regularly on Thursdays, from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue, located at 24855 Pacific Coast Highway.
