Malibu residents and store owners watched in awe as a Los Angeles County Fire Dept. helicopter landed on the highwway Tuesday, March 4, to airlift an accident victim to UCLA Medical Center.
Authorities say a driver involved in the accident was suspected of drunk driving. Toxicology tests will be available in several days to confirm this. The identity of the victims and the extent of their injuries are not yet available.
