Malibu resident Nina Agnes Kemp died March 2. She was 95.
Kemp was born on July 5, 1909. Her husband, Dewey F. Kemp, preceded her in death.
Kemp was born in Quebec, Canada, where she was the second of 11 children. She attended Brainerd High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota. She married Martin F. Patton, with whom she had her first two children in 1930. She married her second husband in 1945.
Kemp and her second husband formed Kemco Parts Inc., a screw machine parts company serving the aerospace community. They moved to Malibu in early 1963 and joined the Malibu Garden Club and Malibu Senior Citizens Club. Kemp enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and dancing.
The last of her siblings, Kemp is survived by her daughters, Kay, Micki, Beverly and Carolyn, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at Forest Lawn in Glendale on March 30.
