Author and journalist Jo Giese and husband Ed Warren hosted Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jane Smiley at their Malibu home for the sold-out Los Angeles Review of Books Luminary Dinner on June 13.
Smiley is the author of best-selling novels “A Thousand Acres,” “Some Luck,” “Early Warning” and “Ten Days in the Hills,” along with teaching as a professor of creative writing at the University of California, Riverside.
